The currently viral clip shows a moose walking and perching in full view of the camera. It paused for a moment and rocked like a dog trying to shake off water.
The moose’s horns immediately popped out of its head, and the moose seemed surprised at the loss of its horns and quickly ran away.
Tyra Bogert posted the video on both Facebook and TikTok, and as of Friday morning it has amassed a total of 335,400 views.
Boger’s brother-in-law also posted the video on his TikTok, garnering 18.6 million views and 2.6 million likes.
I saw that Bogert was staying at his sister’s house when he got a notification from the Ring camera about a movement in the front door. She quickly opened it and witnessed a moose drop its horns in real time.
Her husband Chance immediately called and asked who was at the door.
“I was like, ‘Dude, you gotta see it for yourself! You’re going to be so amazed. I don’t want to ruin it,'” Bogart told TODAY.com.
She posted a follow-up video showing her husband trying to get antlers (about 50 inches in diameter) on camera.
The couple said they were going to attach the corner to one of the walls.
