Funviralpark A Missouri woman has been charged with the shooting deaths of two men she believed were carjackers who stole an SUV after chasing it.
Damesha Coleman, 35, was charged Thursday with two counts of murder, one assault, and force of arms for killing Joseph Farrar, 49, and Darius Jackson, 19, in a shootout Wednesday night in Speedigas, St. Louis. He was indicted on three counts of crime. station.
Police found both men dead with gunshot wounds to the torso around 10:30 p.m. when they arrived at gas stations in North Broadway and Riverview. Farah was found next to a gas pump and Jackson was found next to a car.
A third victim shot in the head in the shooting, an unidentified man, survived, officials said. His condition remains unknown.
It is unclear whether some or all of the three men shot were involved in the carjacking.

Coleman, who reportedly has no previous criminal record and is a native of the Spanish Lake area of St. Louis County, told detectives he went to a gas station to retrieve the stolen car.
Farrar’s youngest child, Michelle Jackson, was distraught when she heard the news that her brother had died after claiming he was an innocent bystander killed by a stray bullet.
According to WTSP News, Jackson, the youngest of Farah’s four siblings, reported that “someone else’s confusion killed my brother.”
Jackson said Farah was at a gas station to buy medicine for his 11-year-old son who had the flu.
She said her brother’s life wasn’t easy. He hit the streets, battled addiction, was in and out of prison, and was released in October 2021.
He had two sons, Justin Farrar, 26, and Joseph Farrar, Jr., 11.
Jackson told 5 on Your Side that his brothers could never be mad at him, even though he felt he let his family down.
“He’ll make you laugh,” said Jackson.
