Funviralpark A man shot and killed his wife on Christmas morning at a Jehovah’s Witness kingdom hall in Thornton, Colorado, before committing suicide, police said.
and news releaseThornton Police have confirmed that two adults found dead at the scene are a married couple who were former members of the Kingdom Hall congregation.
Police said the Adams County medical examiner will confirm the identity of the deceased at a later date.
They also said, “The Adams County Sheriff’s Department’s Hazardous Materials Division is currently investigating a suspicious device found at the scene,” and police are interviewing witnesses as part of the ongoing investigation.
According to police, “there are no known threats to the Thornton community.”
