“With inflation raising the cost of gas, utilities, housing and food, many families find themselves with no money left to buy groceries, especially after paying their bills at the end of the month. This incredible donation from the HFS Federal Credit Union will be used directly to buy food for our island neighbors in need this holiday season, keeping food on the tables of those most suffering. It helps us do that,” said Christine Frost-Albrecht, executive director of the nonprofit. food bank. “Our warmest Mahalo goes out to the HFS Federal Credit Union staff and their members for their extraordinary generosity and for providing essential food relief to brighten up this season for so many in our Big Island community. Thank you for having me.”
HFS considers it an honor and a privilege to support great organizations like The Food Basket that serve their communities. Thanks to the support from its members and the Big Island organization.
