Winter storms across the country have delayed or canceled thousands of flights.
Southwest Airlines is particularly struggling. Over the next few days, only about a third of the flights scheduled are flying.
These cancellations and delays have resulted in a pile of luggage at some airports.
Jill Devereaux is looking for a bag from a flight that never left Denver.

She waited in line for three hours to turn in baggage claim on Sunday and hopes her luggage will stay in Denver after her flight to Boise, Idaho, was canceled on Friday.
Jaafar Bahraini is in a similar situation. Bahrain and his family made it all the way to the gate when their flight to San Jose, Calif. was cancelled.
After standing in a long line all day, he came back the next day.
“I think their policy is, no matter what, get in town and then come back. You have to pick it up here or have it delivered,” he said.
Alex Smith and his wife hold on to our luggage until the last minute so that if our flight is cancelled, we don’t lose it.
“Our flight is coming from Houston, so I was just watching that flight, and it’s been delayed and delayed and delayed,” he said.
FlightAware reports that Southwest canceled more than 2,500 flights on Wednesday.
