Mexican dairy and chorizo producer V&V Supremo Foods, Inc. has expanded its range of crema products to include five flavors inspired by Latin American cuisine.
Flavors include Crema Chihuahua, Crema Mexicana, Crema Mexicana de Casa, Crema Centro Americana and Crema Salvadorenha. Crema Chihuahua is a crème fraiche of Mexican crema with a hint of tartness. Crema Mexicana is a Mexican-style Crema Agria with a “charming bright golden color” and Crema Mexicana de Casa is a Mexican-style Crema with a “very slight acidity and creamy hue”. Crema Centro Americana is served in the traditional Central American style and is savory, characterized by a “very slight taste” and a touch of salt. According to the company, Crema Salvadorenha pays homage to the style of El Salvador, offering “savory and dairy-rich” flavors.
