When Jeff Hagen left the game, he found the window broken. While fixing the glass, he said downtown problems needed a solution.
"Can you see all the cars here?" Hagen said.
Hagen's phone memories aren't what he wanted after Marquette's win.
"We got to the car and my sister-in-law said, 'There's glass all over the place, Jeff.' All of a sudden I realized the windows had been smashed," Hagen said. rice field.
My son-in-law's window was also smashed.
Milwaukee police said at least 10 cars were broken into. Hagen estimated more.
"There were probably 10 at McKinley, so I'm sure there must be 30. Around the corner, there were probably 10 on either side where we parked," Hagen said.
Nothing was stolen from Hagen's car, but they ransacked his glove box. He said police told him people were probably looking for guns.
"I was like, 'Wow, what's going on here?'" Hagen said.
On Wednesday, they still found shards of glass all over the car, and Hagen's wife said she wanted to stay in the suburbs.
"She doesn't want to go back downtown," Hagen said. "She doesn't want to go back downtown."
Hagen said he wants to see people held accountable.
"I have to do something," said Hagen. "So they're building a new concert venue with his Fiserv Forum. Where are people going to park without worrying about safety?"
Hagen said the window repair was covered by insurance, but cost his son-in-law $500.
