Concentrations of humidity across the region over the weekend will bring widespread precipitation, making holiday travel difficult. After snow in the morning, precipitation will turn to rain in most valleys as it warms up later today. Rain will continue in the valleys this weekend, and heavy snow will continue in the mountains. It can be 1-3 feet in mountains and up to 4-5 feet in cottonwoods. The Park City area can be up to 2 feet.
The rain and snow should taper off by Monday morning, but it will get pretty cold after the storm!
