1. April 20 edition: Waterbury’s Brass Mill Center, Commons sale: Two properties, the Brass Mill Center and the Brass Mill Commons, the city’s retail hub, sold together for $45 million, according to city real estate records. The new owner, Brass Mill Center Realty, has ties to New York-based Cohan Retail Investment Group. Cohan Retail Investment Group has a track record of buying and operating distressed shopping malls.
