Earlier this week, I posted about the boat in The Magic Kingdom's 'It's a Small World' being black and dirty. A reader sent me a photo of the dirty interior of a Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover car and black mold from Toy Story Land.
Amalia sent me a picture of this PeopleMover car with a black line on the bottom of the seat. It makes sense for this area to get a little dirty. A place for people to rest their feet while riding.
Still, the dirt is terrible, extending beyond just the leg line.
Amalia also shared a photo of a black spot on the arm of a PeopleMover bench.
Even more dangerous is the black mold in Toy Story Land, which Vincent shares. Mildew can be found at the top of the base of the round tinker his toy post, as well as in the holes on the sides. There is also trash on the ground in the corner of the photo.
This foulness goes beyond the basic responsibilities of regular caretaker cast members, who often wear stark white uniforms throughout the park. regular maintenance is required. Mold, in particular, must be dealt with quickly and carefully for the health and safety of both guests and cast members.
Walt Disney World will resume maintenance reports in January 2023 as it appears to have returned to normal operations after completing the transition period from the COVID-19 pandemic.
