PITTSBURGH — There's a new twist in the Southwest's travel nightmare, as an airline CEO promises to 'make things better' for passengers.
About 16,000 flights have been canceled since December 22nd.

Less than 1% of flights were canceled Friday, according to FlightAware, returning to normal operations.
Tracker's forecast for Saturday shows no disruption to Southwest Airlines operations.
Meanwhile, some people went crazy to rent a car to reach their destination.
Many travelers who relied on Southwest Airlines to return home earlier this week are on the road instead. Thousands of stranded passengers said they chose to rent a car and drive from Orlando to Chicago after days of trying to rebook.
