One of the ice-affected buildings is Hoak’s Restaurant in Buffalo. The restaurant owner said it wasn’t the first time the restaurant had been covered in ice, according to insiders. This time, the Hawk family prepared for the storm by boarding up the windows to protect them from debris and fallen trees. They plan to remove the ice before it melts to avoid damage and open up to patrons as soon as possible.
