The Dallas Cowboys were without Dak Prescott in their first game against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 6. His return made a big difference in the first half of the team’s Week 16 rematch, where Prescott overwhelmed the Eagles’ defense with 16 of 18 yards and 168 yards on passes and interceptions for a touchdown. Regardless, the Eagles jumped out to a 10-point lead and at halftime he led 20-17.

The interception is Prescott’s only drawback, as Josh Sweat picked up Prescott’s first pass of the game and took it 42 yards for a touchdown, giving Philadelphia a 10–0 lead. Dallas responded with 14 unanswered points as Prescott gave the Cowboys the lead thanks to a 36-yard touchdown to Cedee Lamb with 11:34 left in the second quarter. Lamb had 8 catches for 103 yards and 1 point in the first half. Dallas has 211 yards against the Eagles defense, second most in the NFL in yards allowed.

Gardner Minshew had a rushing touchdown in the game, but threw an interception to Jayron Curse that led to a touchdown for Dallas. Minshew was 9 of his 16 for his 144 yards in the first half with a rushing touchdown. AJ Brown records his three catches for 64 yards.
