Welcome to Game Day Skully. The official title is "Peach Bowl Skull Session". </p><div><p>
Before I get into the article, I would like to talk about the elephant in the room. You may have noticed that today's article doesn't have "Get Dumped, Then ____" in the title or lead. it's intentional.
Earlier this year, many readers informed us that DJ Byrnes, aka Proton Don, coined the phrase. Some argue that it may have started around or even before Ohio State's historic national championships in the 2014 season. Let's say you have a pending 'Get Dumped Then'.
The idea behind this phrase pause (or retirement, I don't know yet) is simple. A lot of people liked "Get Dumped Then" at first, but a lot of people didn't like it, and that's okay. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Second, and perhaps more importantly, it wasn't the Buckeyes that dumped at The Game on November 26th, nor is it scheduled to dump at 8pm on Saturday.
For these reasons, the secondary title of this skull session is "Time to Shock the World". This is exactly what Ohio State will do if they beat the #1-seeded Georgia Bulldogs in their own backyard.
“Every chapter brings new opportunities, new leases on life,” Kamryn Babb said in the Ohio State University Peach Bowl trailer. “We know you don’t want us here.” I know you think we don't deserve this opportunity But that's how we want it We've been fighting to get this shot – Ohio State A shot that tells the story of our football team All we needed was this one game, this momentary opportunity And now we have an opportunity One game is me We can change our legacy forever.
Please bring me a bulldog.
Ohio Against the World.
<span class="icon-ohio"> </span><strong>on fast track. </strong>When Urban Meyer took over as head coach at Ohio State University prior to the 2012 season in Florida, after winning two national championships in Florida and briefly working as a broadcaster at ESPN, his primary focus was on the program. It was about changing what I could. Almighty, he will compete with the SEC and unruly giants like Alabama, LSU, and Auburn.
Ohio State University quickly found success under Meyer and his new philosophy. He made the Buckeyes athletic with an athleticism that no other team in the Big Ten could match. As time went on, Meyer's team continued to set the pace across the league and nationally with speed and quickness, which was maximized by the spread of offense and uptempo play. Ohio State joined the "elite" conversation with Alabama and Clemson Universities in the top 5 recruiting classes and multiple 12+ winning seasons.
When Mayer retired in 2018, he handed over the key program for a well-maintained Ferrari to quarterback coach and joint offensive coordinator Ryan Day. At the time, Day was head of college football. Although he had never coached, Mayer was confident that he could successfully drive one of the sports blues.
"Don't crash," was probably the last message Meyer left for Day as he exited the Woody Hayes Athletic Center.
Urban Meyer hired Ryan Day as quarterback coach and co-offensive coordinator at Ohio State University in 2017. When Meyer left the program after the 2018 season, Day was hired as the Buckeyes’ next head coach. Hired. He went 45-5 in his first four seasons. (Photo: Joe Maiorana-USA TODAY Sports)
The good news: The day didn't crash the supercar. He kept it safe and may even have made some upgrades. Ohio State will soon reach CFP in 2019 and will 2020 also includes participation in the national championship, with a third appearance in 2022. The Buckeyes got to this point with the same athleticism and skill that made Meyer's team so great. In many ways, his style of play has become the identity of the program, and this year's Peach his bowl game was played indoors at his Fast track, making it a heavenly match for the Buckeyes.
At the Mercedes-Benz Stadium (conveniently named in my car analogy), Day says the garage will be closed from October, as the domed venue allows for perfect conditions for driving a supercar. can drive his well-tuned Ferrari covered in
Day will have to test the limits of his Ferrari as he races Kirby Smart at the wheel of his supercar (presumably a Lamborghini) at the Peach Bowl. He is neither comfortable nor complacent. <em>he cannot waste this opportunity</em>And I don't think he will.
Call me crazy, but I'm picking Buckeyes. are you with me
<span class="icon-ohio"> </span><strong>Today's menu.</strong> I've been arguing that New Year's Eve is the worst holiday ever. Wherever I go, it usually works out pretty well.
That's awful. bad holiday.
But I digress.
Today's menu is small, but it's really, really good. Today you can see Nick his Saban at a non-essential bowl game. Jim then saw Harbaugh and Michigan lose to his TCU, followed by an Ohio State win. How funny!

<span class="icon-ohio"> </span><strong>My CFP pick.</strong> Today's Skull Session My Pick has another variation. Instead of just betting on the spread, you pick who will win and predict the final score. how does that sound?
- TCU (+7.5) vs Michigan: TCU has won the game in many ways. i like that A common theme is whether the big play saves or destroys the horned toad. From Max Duggan to Quentin Johnston to running back Kendre Miller stealing a home run, TCU will make a life-or-death home run. Michigan plays well in both ends, but the horned frogs hit too many homers for the Wolverines to handle. TCU31 – UM28
- Ohio (+6.5) vs. Georgia: Guys, I have made my stance on this clear. Please bring me a bulldog. Ohio Against the World. It’s time to shock the world. I could insert a thousand more sayings to explain how the Buckeyes win this one. I believe OSU 34 – UGA 28
<span class="icon-ohio"> </span><strong>Can I get an encore? </strong>Rapper Jay-Z and alternative rock band Linkin Park once wrote a song called "Numb/Encore" in 2003.Like, it didn't really need to be slapped <em>its hard</em>but it was good for them.

Anyway, I included this song in Scully for the lyrics that follow.
<em>"Can I have an encore? Do you want more?"</em>
That lyric stuck in my head as I watched CJ Stroud's highlights from last year's Rose Bowl. why? We need an encore for this show, so tonight at the Peach Bowl.
