Another plan available to Americans is Travel Protection. This plan covers unexpected flight changes such as flight cancellations, delays, and cancellations. It can also cover lost baggage and additional pet care costs if your personal flight is delayed.
Finally, there is International Travel Medical Plus, which combines International Travel Medical and Travel Protection.

Arwindekar said the travel plans are available to all Americans, not just UnitedHealthcare members. Average premiums range from $80 to $150, depending on the plan selected, length of trip, cost of travel, state of residence and age of the traveler.
